British Export Control was proud to deliver the practical exercises at the EU P2P Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) Outreach Programme event in Liberia this month, bringing together government officials from Liberia and Sierra Leone for two days of hands-on training on border control cooperation and arms diversion prevention.

Participants included representatives from customs, police, military, immigration, and national arms commissions on both sides of the border — reflecting the cross-border nature of the challenge the ATT is designed to address.

The feedback speaks for itself: across 14 participant evaluations, the event scored an average of 4.5 out of 5, with topic relevance and participant engagement rated highest at 4.7/5.
